3. Akshardham Temple, Gandhinagar : One of the most well crafted temples in India, this temple once has had the misfortune of being the target of a terrorist activity. 5. Nageshwar Temple, Nageshwar : The temple is said to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva but the claim is stated to be controversial.
